Family Dynamics

Picture this: a mother who has insecurities good for 5 people, a father who is solely focused on providing for the children, and children who basically grew up without direct "right" guidance from their parents.  As a bonus, they are indirectly taught to keep their feelings.  So now, with all of them adults, the children have to keep up with the toxicity of the parents, while they themselves have to try to maintain a relationship with each other--whatever the person they ended up to be.  As luck would have it, one of them grew up to be manipulative with only his future gains in mind (this, with the audacity to lure his parents into a trap while the latter will be grateful for all the "help" he's "given").
